OHSAS 18001 requires an Organiztion to identify workplace hazards and the risks associated with them, and to control them with the purpose of avoiding accidents and exposure.
 
OHSAS 18001 requirements help an organization establish and meet its own policy goals through objectives and targets, organizatioal structures and accountability, management controls and review functions
